WINDMILL COLLECTING
AERO has supplied 17-inch windmills to thousands of customers over the years. Many of those
customers have been businesses or organizations which ordered windmills with their name or logo
screen printed on the tails. There have been over 200 different special tail styles made, in quantities
ranging from a dozen to over 10,000 of each kind. Collectors of AERO manufactured windmills
regularly add new models to their collections as they become available. At the same time, they shop
antique stores, flea markets, garage sales, auctions and eBay for old models no longer made. This is
especially true for individuals who attempt to acquire as many different 17-inch windmills as possible
with the names of the historic, real water-pumping windmill companies on the tails.
